ABOUT THIS SITE
About This Site
Water Damage Auburn WA is a website and a phone number. Here's what that means for you.
After You Call
- You call (253) 338-5837. There's nothing to fill out.
- You say which level of the house is wet. Roughly how much water, whether it's still coming in, and where you are.
- The call goes to a participating restoration company. It's an independent business that takes water damage jobs in the Auburn area.
- The company takes it from there. It sees the damage, explains the work and its price, and schedules with you and, if there's a claim, your insurer.
What This Site Is, and Isn't
This site exists to get people with water damage to a restoration company quickly. Water Damage Auburn WA owns no equipment, employs no technicians and sends nobody to your house. The restoration companies are separate businesses. Each one sets its own prices and schedule and answers for its own work.
Checking a Washington Contractor
Washington requires construction contractors to register with the Department of Labor & Industries (L&I), with a bond and insurance on file. Before you hire:
- Look the company up with L&I's Verify a Contractor tool, by business name, UBI number or registration number. Check that the registration is active.
- Ask for a written scope listing the rooms, what's coming out, the drying plan and what's excluded.
- Ask how drying is recorded, and whether you'll get copies of the moisture readings.
- Watch for pressure. Large cash deposits, door-to-door offers after a flood, or a push to sign over your insurance claim before you've read it are reasons to slow down.
How the Site Earns Money
You pay nothing to call. The site earns a fee from a restoration company or marketing partner when a call becomes a qualified lead. Calls may be recorded, with notice, to check quality and billing. More: Disclaimer.
